Tripp Lite is DRS232 offers data-line surge suppression for the protection of POS equipment, serial printer spoolers, multiplexers and other network devices using RS232 ports running on unshielded twisted pair (UTP). Convenient RJ45 input and output connections with included 5 inch Ethernet patch cable allows convenient in-line placement at the protected device network connection. Six-inch heavy guage grounding lead connects to designated grounding lugs available on the back panel of most network workstations and pieces of internet-working equipment.
