The Composite IMPP cone using interlaced KEVLAR brand fiber is super-strong, rigid, tough, and very lightweight - the perfect attributes for big, booming bass and 240-watt max. power handling - and its High-Energy Strontium Magnet and Conex Damper deliver higher power handling and deeper bass. The mid-range is a 1-5/8" Foamed PPC Balanced Dome with Magnetic Fluid and includes its own Strontium Magnet, for high-performance reproduction and low distortion. Completing the design are a 3/8" Dome Tweeter and Supertweeter, for truly superior highs.
