History

In 1998 Manuel Gallego start to play with cellphone cables to customize nokia phones with logos and investigate some inverse engineering to unlock nokia phones, he began to make some handmade cables for new nokia 5110 for some internet friends for free. He puts online schematics and instructions about how to do it in the 5110 / 6110 nokia page hosted at a free geocities server. In only a few days he had received floods of phone calls and emails requesting cables.

In 1999 was created gsm-cables.net and over the next 6 months was to become one of the largest mail order resellers in Europe of mobile phone cables and related equipment with over 5,000 satisfied customers.

At the end of 1999 Mr. Gallego created a new company in hong kong named phonetoys limited to trade lattest electronics gadgets for mobile phones and will contact with the best china factories to source all our electronics products that our customers demand us, and at same time was created ucables.com with a new design and offering much more products including lattest mobile phone accessories. Today ucables.com is the most visited mobile phone portal that offer lattest solutions to repair, diagnostic and customize cellphones.
